Director: Susan Wikler

Susan Wikler has been an advocate of whole person health and well being since the early seventies when she shifted her career from teaching inner city children in Philadelphia to feature writing for regional newspapers and national magazines. Her focus was on educating and encouraging others as to the personal and global benefits of embracing a healthy, natural lifestyle through conscious choice. Since then she has helped pave the way for fellow seekers through her articles, workshops, television productions, conferences and events all designed to promote awareness and healthy, compassionate living. Susan is also a committed hospice volunteer affirming death as part of life and supporting the passage for the patient and family with grace and dignity. She believes that being involved in the dying process is an honor and an extraordinarily exquisite opportunity to learn about life. In addition to working with hospice, Susan is a long time patient and advocate of chiropractic and complimentary healthcare. She has helped market and develop a number of businesses and healthcare practices through her former east coast marketing/public relations firm and current consulting services. She presently assists the Upper Cervical Research Foundation [(www.ucrf.org)] in marketing and raising funds to support upper cervical research, education and awareness so that the public at large will become familiar with and be better able to receive the benefits of upper cervical alignment and a joyous body in balance. Susan is an avid international traveler and teacher, and has lived in many wonderful parts of the world including Central America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia and Europe. She spent the last seven years in Hawaii and recently moved to California where she continues her work as a healthcare advocate and teacher of self expression. Susan writes fiction for children and adults in addition to teaching ways to express the jewels of the heart in classes she calls ‘Writing from the Heart” a clear source of self-discovery of empowerment.
