I grew up in and around Logansport, Indiana. Nothing extraordinary in schooling or the three years spent in Germany for the US Army.  I married and have four children, nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  After my discharge, I moved to Aurora, Illinois where I worked various jobs in Aurora, and then moved to Jacksonville, Illinois, where I trained and worked as a telegrapher for the Wabash Railroad for 9 years. I then moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma where I opened a TV repair shop. After operating the repair shop for 5 years, I opened a home furnishings Rent-To-Own company, which grew to 55 stores in 5 states. I sold the company and retired in 1985 and begin to do volunteer work in the community and travel.  My wife Sondra and I now live in Cape Coral full time and part time in Ardmore Ok. My volunteer work includes:
  • Ardmore, Ok. City Planning Board.
  • President of the Ardmore Habitat for Humanity for four years.
  • Lt Colonial and Commander of the Civil air Patrol Squadron.
  • Delivering Meals On Wheels for the Salvation Army for several years.
  • Plays Santa every year for varies schools and groups.
  • Was a Grand Marshal for the 2004 Ardmore Children’s Christmas Parade.
  • After attending Clown School in Ft. Myers, I have served as a clown for many Schools, Libraries, Assisted Livings, Adult Daycares and parties.
  • I tour the pediatric words of Health Park hospital in Ft Myers, Fl. every Wed afternoon as Squeeky the clown doing magic and telling silly jokes to the children.
  • I also go on mission trips with doctors, as an assistant and gofer.  I also do magic and animal balloons to entertain the children while the parents are being adjusted.  The doctors have called me the Pied Piper as I usually have children following me around.
  • I have been to Ghana Africa, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Tahiti and Honduras on mission trips.
  • I also volunteer at the Children’s Science Center and the Lee County Library in Cape Coral, and at the Imaginarinum, Ft. Myers and the Edison Museum as a tour guide.
  • I also teach Introduction to the Internet and MS Word classes at the Tony Rotino Center in Cape Coral.
